What began as a ridiculous trend has been booming ever since it started. The 100 crore club saw a new entrant this week as Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Bhaag Milkha Bhaag entered the distinguished 100 crore club. This year has seen 3 entries so far, the first two being the ensemble cast film Race 2 and Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone starer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. While Race 2 entered the club in 14 days and earned a lifetime income of 102 crores, YJHD entered the club in a week by wrapping up for a lifetime total of 190.03 crores.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag which made a surprising entry in a list that mostly has slick films with greater star value, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag ran on sheer strength of its story. The film rests on 19th position on our compilation of Bollywood 100 crore films.

2013 has many such ventures that can potentially be a part of the club. Beginning with Chennai Express that will release next week, the other films that can be a part of 100 crore club are Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara!, Besharam, Krrish 3 and Dhoom 3 are among the most promising contenders for the same!
